Maxx's 9th Birthday!
Last but definitely not least....
Maxx is 9!!!
This year Maxx had a friend party. We decided to rent out the local Jr. High pool. It's just too hot for the park, and he wanted to invite too many for the house.

Sofia
Sofia's first day of school...
They had a Tea Party at preschool. They had been learning about manners and wanted to show us what they had learned.
I tried to get Sofia to wear a fancier dress, but she is a stubborn one. She did let me put ringlets in her hair.
During Fall Break Maxx and I purged his room. It totally wore Sofia out - you know all the hard work messing up her room. :)

They made a paperdoll of what they wanted to be when the grew up. Sofia wants to be a ROCKSTAR!!!

Abby
Abby's first day of school.
They had "decades" day at the Jr. High. Abby chose the 80'S. Her leggings are mine from when I was in 7th grade. The rest we just threw together. She wouldn't go totally 80's with the Madonna look or really big hair (she considers this to be big hair - little does she know) - more of the cool rocker chic. Her "look" could pass for today.

Sand Rail
Our friend Joel let us borrow his sand rail. We took it out to the desert on a beautiful August day. It had rained - even rained a bit on us - was nice and cool for August in AZ. Love the monsoons! Of course I only took a couple pics...
Don't let her face fool you - she loved it! Juan took her through a few puddles. :)
