Broken!!

So, our moon, like your moon looks a little like this tonight. As we were driving home, Sofia commented about the "broken moon". She wanted to know who broke it. So, if you are feeling a bit guilty, I would suggest staying away from Sofia. She wants it fixed!

Riparian Preserve

On Saturday, we loaded up the bikes and Daisy into Juan's truck and took the kids to the Riparian Preserve by the library.

Eating our picnic lunch...

Daisy had a great time. She got hissed at by a goose and tried to chase the rabbits. She was getting upset with us when we stopped to eat lunch - howling and whining at us!

I know, I know...I take after mom in my photography. But instead of cutting off heads, I cut of noses!

It is a neat place to get "away" in the city.

We were all tired in the end - even Sofia who got to ride the whole way!

Maxx's Clean Room!

Maxx told Grandma that he would send pictures of his clean room to her.  I tried to put them in an email, but they were taking FOREVER to attach.  So, I figured I'd post them on my blog so everyone can see what a wonderful job Maxx did cleaning his room!

P.S.  He took these pictures himself with his new camera.

All You-Can't-Eat Sandwich

National Geographic Kids magazine is having a Sandwich Art Contest.  This is Abby's entry.  The All You-Can't-Eat Sandwich.  She has quite the imagination - I sure hope it doesn't carry over into her real cooking!  Good Luck, Abby!

Tent!

Yes, Sofia was as excited as she looks! Sleeping in a tent is the ultimate high for her tonight. Maxx has been a really sweet brother. He read her stories and even did hand shadow stories for her. Wouldn't it be nice, if we could all be as excited for something so simple?

Christmas 2008!

All ready for bed in their new PJ's! As you can see we had a major train wreck. Luckily no passengers were hurt.

Checking out their stash from Santa!

Abby and Maxx got cameras, and Sofia got a box full of dress-up clothes.

Maxx made us all wonderful homemade gifts this year. Juan really liked his robot.

We all had a great time and enjoyed the day!
